What would you offer to pay?
For a swing set? The person wanted $500 but I asked if they are flexible. They said yes! (with exclamation point) and asked how much I want to pay. It's not someone I know. Not sure what to counter.

Yes you have to take apart. I think they person obviously just wants to get rid of it like you see a lot on CL, but was originally worth a lot more. Just not sure if I should say $300, $350? $400? Can I say $250 without pizzing someone off? I hate when people totally lowball but she asked me what I want to pay, KWIM?

Yes, I would offer $250 because keep in mind they will counter offer and then you can go up to how much you would really want to pay for it.
