What's a good alternative to an iPod?
My 9 year old nephew wants an iPod for Christmas. Ok fine, easy enough. Well his 6 year old brother also wants an iPod but my sister (their mother) doesn't think it's a good idea (which I agree with). The little one is semi-destructive so I know he won't take care of it, not to mention, he's 6 lol. So is there something more age appropriate I can get him that's like an iPod but not actually an iPod?

My almost 4 year old uses the iPod like a pro. She has dropped it a few times and it survived. I'd probably just get him that if money isn't an issue. I'd get the cheapest model.

the ipod shuffle is only like 40 or 50 bucks, so it's like the mini version and not as expensive
