What's a good phone for texting?
I feel like an idiot with my phone texting...I'm there for like 10 minutes trying to type something out because of the abc type keys that I have.
So what's a good phone for texting that won't break the bank? I have AT&T wireless...

Do you use predictive text? Thats makes texting so much easier!!!
I have a Samsung u900 now and its pretty good, going for an upgrade soon.

The blackberry curve with AT&T is $400. That is crazy. There are a few newer phones with a QWERTY keyboard, I would stick to those.

What service provider do you have?
I have Verizon...
I hear the envy is good for texting... I have the Dare, which is a touch, and if you turn the phone sideways you can touch a regular keyboard...

I just got the pantech matrix from AT&T. It has a full sliding qwerty keyboard and was $80 after the rebate. I've had it a few weeks and I love it.

I have at&t also. I am a big texter. I got the pantech Matrix and could not be happier. With my upgrade I paid 79

You should totally try predictive text, makes it so much easier! And I love to text!

I obsessed over this when I got my new phone in December. After looking at them all and researching I decided on the Samsung Propel, I LOVE IT! I did not like the touch screen on the Quickfire and all the models of the matrix felt very flimsy, it made me wonder if it was after too much use. HTH
