Whats a good venue for a 2yo bday party for winter?
Ds's bday is at the end of feb and our dd would just be 2 months old. I would normally have a bday party in our home but want to minimize decorating work and cleanup with a newborn. I would love to have a bday party for ds at some place fun like white post farms but I think it's too cold at that time. Any mommas have any fun and cute venues they've been to and can share their experience? TIA!

I did DD's 2nd bday last Jan at Tumbling Tunes in Northport. The kids all had a blast. It's like a gymboree class with free play, circle/music, and then a little gymnastics. It's really affordable and you don't have to bring anything but dessert. They will do goody bags for extra fee, too.

Not sure your location but we did DSs 3rd birthday at Plaster funcraft in commack. They paint and then dance and do activities in the party room before pizza and cake. And it was very reasonable price wise

Re: Whats a good venue for a 2yo bday party for winter?
White Post Farm does cute bdays in the winter. I did my son's 2nd birthday there in February (granted 6 years ago) and it was great. They do recommend the birthday child be at least 3 but it depends on the kids. They set up a lot indoors. Pony rides, animal feedings, pet a bunny, etc. I had a summer 3rd bday party there for my other son and liked the indoor one even better! I plan on doing my daughters 3rd bday party there this February! She is already telling everyone and has never even been there she is so excited - she loves farms!
I did my daughter's 2nd bday at Nunley's and she loved it. She loves the merry go round. Gymnastics/Little Gym is very popular with that age. What about Once upon a treetop? Is that still open? I remember a lot of parties there too.

What does white post farms do in the winter??
everything is under a heated tent so they do everything they normally would do= train ride, pony ride, feed animals etc..
We were so happy!

Re: Whats a good venue for a 2yo bday party for winter?
we used once upon a treetop for my son's party - it went great - the kids had lots of fun but of course wanted more time in the city/play area
just have to bring dessert - it was very easy and they did a great job - the guys that work there are very helpful with the kids in the large play area
