What's everyone doing with the kids for Halloween?
I think we're doing the mall in the AM and then trick or treating in the neighborhood in the afternoon.

DD dresses up at school and they trick or treat in the different rooms...there is a senior center in the building as well, so they will visit and sing songs...
Then trick or treating in the neighborhood...

We're doing lunch at McD's, trick or treaing in the neighborhood, then over to my mom's house for dinner.

Taking DD to my BIL & SIL's neighborhood, *maybe* walking around to some of the houses (they live in a development and are friendly with a lot of neighbors), but otherwise just hang out at their house. I really don't want her to get candy b/c she obviously won't eat it, and then I will

Taking Dd to where I work, then to see her aunt out in Roslyn.
Then probably to my IL's and then my parents.
I don't think we'll be home for any trick or treaters.

DS has a party at daycare in the early afternoon and then I'm going to pick him up early and we'll head over to my SIL's to go trick-or-treating with them.

My DHs school always has a parade so I'll bring Jack there to walk with him.
Then I want to go see my grandmother
Then we spend the evening with my cousins and their kids.

What Mall are you talking about? Malls have Halloween things?
Most LI malls have "safe" trick-o-treatin' for the kids. You go in and out of the stores through the mall and get candy. It is considered safe b/c the mall provides the candy rather than kids going through the neighborhood and not knowing if the candy has been tampered with.
It started @ 15 years ago after a big scare.

daycare parade in the morning.
lunch and then trick or treating at the malls with the NJ LIF girls
going to my office in the afternoon for trick or treating.
then hitting up a few houses on my block in the evening
But after writing that I seriously doubt DS is going to be up for all of this in a costume.

They have a costume parade at school that morning.
Not sure about the rest of the day. They'll probably help me hand out stuff at our house, we don't trick or treat.

Karate school party the night before. Halloween parade at school. Door to door at a few neighbors (the ones we talk to on a regular basis), then the Holiday Inn near Islip airport has a trick-or-treat event with local businesses.

i'm taking DD to my DH's job for an hour or so and he is taking a 1/2 day and then from there we are meeting up with my SIL and the kids and then pizza party at my brother's house.

Thanks! I did not grow up here so Halloween is "new" to me in term of Trick or Treating. I am discovering things as DS grows up. It's fun actually!

DD is 6 months old, so I'm taking her to my mom's house and then to my MIL's house and then we're meeting up with my friend who also has a 6 month old.
I don't think we're really going trick o' treating, but we'll probably walk around, especially if its a nice day!

Then in the afternoon we'll go to my 3-yr sister's nursery school to watch her parade and Trick or Treat with her.

My parents are getting here around 3, then we are taking Christopher trick or treating to the 3 houses around us, then maybe to a friend's house.....
Then we are going to TRU to look at train tables, then bakc here for some dinner!
