What's everyone wearing for the first day of school?
With all of this nervous chatter on here I thought it would be fun to post what you're wearing! I still love getting my back-to-school dress!

I am wearing a pair of my Seven maternity jeans, a nice top and sandals. I usually dress up a bit more, but I had these kids last year, so there is no pretense. My school is pretty casual, so I can get away with jeans.

I am starting at a new school, so who knows the dress code. I am probably going to wear a black pin striped pencil skirt with a short sleeve pink button down. Today I am going shopping though so that may change.

We started last week. The union was urging all staff to wear black in some way to protest no raise - so I wore a black fitted top, a red and black skirt, and black mules.

Something TRES comfortable! Tan capris and one of the cute maternity tops I bought from Motherhood... oh, and of COURSE flip flops. Seriously, my cankles can't even THINK of slipping into real shoes/sandals.

I have a navy blue Ann Taylor Loft dress with sort of a ruffled collar and belt tie. A cross between a wrap and shirtdress. It's cool and comfy!
We can't wear flip flops so maybe black wedge espadrilles.
I have to get used to wearing heals again

I feel the same way! But I have some birthday money to spend so I'll get a couple of things. I acutally got some cute tops at Target!

Ann Taylor Loft? Really? I'm shocked. I'll probably be wearing something from there as well... just not quite sure what yet. Ugh. Bad, school. BAD.

I used to have my "first day of school dress". it was navy, with some embossed seams that decorated the top. Professional, yet comfortable and timeless. I did that for 7 years, but now I'm heavier and the damned thing doesn't fit :( I have to find something else, but considering it's usually 95 degrees in my room, I'm keeping it casual.

i haven't thought about it yet.
I have picked up some new tops since most of my tops from last year were kind of getting gross (I run the school store so I am dealing with food and slushie machines before and after school)
I have to try on my pants from last year. I lost some weight this summer so I don't know the status of those.
