What's for breakfast/lunch/dinner

Hey guys,

I think we should start a regular thread about what we are making for our kids. I know so many of us are always looking for new meal ideas.

So, what's for lunch?

Today lunch will be pasta with broccoli with a little garlic and oil. Its the only thing shes eating these days.

Breakfast today was one waffle, 2 handfuls of cheerios and pears. I still give her jar fruit when she wont eat anything else, just so I know that she gets something in her.

Breakfast was an Eggo waffle, a banana and a cup of milk.

Lunch was a 1/2 American cheese sandwich on wheat bread with a cup of watered down juice.

Dinner is anything we eat. At this time of day, I have no idea what dinner will be tonight!

Re: What's for breakfast/lunch/dinner

Breakfast was cereal with milk and a banana. I gave her a piece of pumpkin/banana/tofu bread I made over the weekend for a morning snack (she loves it!).

For lunch some yogurt with applesauce, potato/dill soup that Dh made last night and some cheese.

Afternoon snack - cherry tomatoes and a clementine

Dinner will probably be some leftover salmon from last night, hummus and avocado.

Since I'm working today, I'm not sure what she is having today so I'll post yesterdays...

Breakfast...Fresh fruit (norm) and scrambled eggs with a piece of bagel

Lunch...Banana and some pretzels. She wasn't very hungry

Dinner...Grilled chicken with sauteed spinach and stewed tomatos with penne.

I have lots Chat Icon I started doing a lot of baking so that we can still enjoy some of the sweeter things, but I have control over all the ingredients. My latest experiment was pumpkin bread made with some whole wheat flour, pumkin, bananas, maple syrup, rice milk and soft tofu, and OMG it's SO good!

Frequent meals of ours -

-Egg schnitzel
-Shakshuka (traditional Israeli egg and tomato dish)
-Sauteed tilapia with sweet potatoes and a veggie side
-Broiled salmon with soy sauce, maple syrup, and paprika, with couscous and a side of veggies
-Whole wheat pasta with veggie/mushroom meatballs and homemade sauce
-Portabello mushroom burger with hummus
-Lots of soups and vegetarian chilli (potato/dill soup, lentil soup, white bean soup, split pea soup, etc.)

Usual snacks are cucumbers, carrots, cherry tomatoes, hummus, tahini, pita, avocado, clementines and raisins.

Breakfast - homemade Waffle and a Banana
Lunch: 1/2 PB&J on whole wheat sandwhich and a pear

DD is very picky so every day at least one meal is either grilled cheese or PB&J.
