What's grinding your gears today?
Happy Tuesday!
Any trivial annoyances or aggravations today?
I'll go first...
About 3 people are burning candles at their desks in my office. I am in my own office, away from them, but yet, the smell is wafting in here and for some reason it's really making me sick today.
It smells like a Yankee Candle Store in here. Only stronger.
I love a good candle but only one at a time, and NOT in the office.
I can't imagine the fire marshall would approve of this!

You're going to hate me NervousNell but I'm really tired of this back and forth weather. T-shirt, no wait.......sweater, wait.....jeans!!.........no, back to capris. A/C on, A/C off. Humid, not humid. I'm SICK of it. I want it to just be cool/cold and crisp EVERY day now so that it's easier to dress myself and the kids and we can officially put away our summer things.

Sports! If the men in my office don't stop talking about this stupid slide/broken leg thing, I'm gonna lose my sh!t!!

Not really that trivial but on my way to work this morning on 1010 wins they had a story of a young woman who posted a video of herself that she took while she was driving drunk. It was on like a twitter or a instagram website but for videos... I forget the name, periscope? Something like that.
So she goes: "here I ammmmm guys, I'm driving drunkkkkk and lets see if I get pulled overrrrr"
I was LIVID. Well, she posted it live and people posted back telling her to pull over and a few called the police and the police went out and found her and pulled her over and arrested her 
But I was just so disgusted that she did that. SMH.

I kind of agree! I mean, I can't go to the beach anymore, the pool is closed, so I really don't need it to be hot and humid.
This semi hot stuff is killing me too.
The mornings are chilly, so you dress for that and then the afternoons get hot and you're sweating
On Friday we had to turn the AC on in our house, I was DYING of the heat because I was in jeans and long sleeves.
I love a good extended summer, but not the back and forth!

It's true -- each time I go to do the switch over in the closet I can't... I have UGG's out right next to flip-flops. It's like the weather is having an identity crisis. The other day I had capris and flip flops on during the day and at night I had to put boots and a jacket on to go out with my boyfriend - and I was chilly! It was crazy. So I'm pulling from both sides of the closet!

I have the ac on again today becuz it's so humid. The house felt stuffy even with the windows open.

Like, now I have a short-sleeved shirt on and a pair of light-weight skinny pants with ballet flats. I don't need a jacket - it was pretty warm out this morning. Fine.
Tonight Peter and I are going to see the Mets game. Well, bundle up!  I already have my UGGs out with jeans and a long-sleeved shirt and then a sweatshirt for over that.

A-FFUCKING-MEN!!!
I was so angry. I still am. That play was done.dead.over. and he went and did that to Ruben. And Ruben is a really good player, a clean player, a nice man, so kind - not aggressive. And you do that to him?? Because you knew you were out? That (injury) is potentially career-ending. It made it so that he cannot go to the World Series with his team which is, often, a once-in-a-lifetime event. How dare he! He should be ashamed. What he did was disgraceful.
He deserves the suspension and THEN SOME.

What's grinding your gears today?
A couple things. Got a recent birthday invitation from DD's little friend down the street. The party falls on a weekday, during work hours. It's on Friday at 4 pm. This parent doesn't work and home schools - they live down the block from us. I'm not upset I can't go to a kids party, trust me, but I know DD would like to. Odd choice and lack of consideration for those that work and have their kids in actual school. Oh well.
The next is my co worker. I've known her for years, terrible marital problems. Two yrs ago she paid a 3k retainer to a divorce attorney, had it drawn up but never served him. He's basically a deadbeat. Two months ago, she decided she is finally divorcing and paid the filing fee and threatened him again. She went as far as putting the house up for sale too at a very inflated, unrealistic price. She admitted today, that she is using these tactics (threatening divorce and "pretend" selling the house) to whip him into shape. By him seeing the for sale sign on the lawn and divorce threat, he's since been doing stuff around the house and minor repairs and updates. She's using these professionals' time as a way to motivate her husband to be productive. I'm so done. She's insane. I can't even listen to it anymore.

OMG, cracking me up! Yeah, this is pretty bad.
Just that it's Tuesday and not Friday. I'm ready for the weekend already. Insurance companies don't want to answer their phones, the EMR computer system doesn't want to work, etc.

My husband said he would help clean and organize the house yesterday. I wake up today and the only job he did was put out Halloween decorations. Plus, the same crap that is on the floor all the time of his, is still there! every time I trip on something of his I want to throw it away!

The guy at work who keeps coughing a lung since last week.
I am thinking all the Mucinex and Robitussin and CVS cough drops arent doing the trick. Plus smoking on top of it.
It is irritating everyone here! The coughs are just nasty sounding. Especially if one wants to eat at their desk? Not going to happen.
Im thinking a good steroid or antibiotic should do a trick. Its not like we don't have health insurance??? He has it! Wish people would use it when needed.

Do we work in the same place? We have one of those here today well a few actually. These people have come to work infected the office then took sick days for a few days. Thanks for coming in on the first bad day!
