these pesky 10lbs that i keep finding, no matter what i do to lose them. i'm so sick and tired of being chubby... but food is so yummy.
i want to cry and then i want to eat chocolate cake.

I was so angry. I still am. That play was done.dead.over. and he went and did that to Ruben. And Ruben is a really good player, a clean player, a nice man, so kind - not aggressive. And you do that to him?? Because you knew you were out? That (injury) is potentially career-ending. It made it so that he cannot go to the World Series with his team which is, often, a once-in-a-lifetime event. How dare he! He should be ashamed. What he did was disgraceful.
He deserves the suspension and THEN SOME.
Diiickhead. 
Did you see the game last night? The mets fans booed for about 10 minutes after chase's name was called. Love how the announcer waited until they were done to call the next player. It was a dirty play. #winforruben

I'm at work and all day I've been catching up on phone calls and EVERYONE must not see that I have this big black thing attached to my head and keeps trying to talk to me!!!!!

What's grinding your gears today?
Pet peeve of the day is the idiots that walk around with their faces buried in their phones! They don't watch where they are going, move at a snails pace. There is nothing on your phone that is so important that it can't wait until you get where you are going!!! If it's that important, move over to the side and get the hell out of everyone's way! It is just such a pain the arse trying to navigate around all of these people in midtown.

Yeah and I was super bitter at Newsday -- big EFF YOU Newsday for writing:
"Showing quite the flair for the dramatic, the Mets on Monday night introduced injured shortstop Ruben Tejada last among the reserves during the ceremony before Game 3 of the NLDS at Citi Field."
Umm really?? He's a part of the team. He suffered a very serious break to his leg. He deserves to go out there with his teammates and be welcomed just like everyone else. Why is that dramatic? What's with the nasty tone Newsday? Really??
And yes, I was actually AT the game last night and the energy in the air was electric. It was wonderful. And you know what? You don't eff with New Yorkers because they will always let you know how they feel. And he deserved every boo he got. It was such a great game. Standing room only in the stadium. The largest crowd Citi Field has seen yet at just under 45,000.
GREAT game.
Tonight I'll be watching it with the man -- this time we are going to a bar, going to get a good seat in front of a big TV, have a few cocktails, hold hands and CHEER THEM ON!!!!
Especially cheering for Steven Matz -- my boyfriend is a graduate, many moons ago, of Ward Melville just like Matz so we will be cheering him on for sure. And the Mets in general - the whole team, such a great group of guys. LOVE!

A friend who I am pretty close with didn't ask me to be a bridesmaid. I know she cant ask everyone, but my feelings are hurt. It wont ruin our friendship, I will never ask and I will keep it to myself.
But I just went to Rent the Runway and I'm wearing a FABULOUS dress to the wedding :)

When you have a scheduled conference call and they spend 50 minutes complaining about something unrelated to the call.
I did not have an extre 50 minutes to spend with this person. And to add to it, he couldn't answer the questions that I had anyway.

What's grinding your gears today?
We have a cluster mailbox about a 5 minute walk from our house. I'm waiting on the mail to come so I can go to the bank and then go food shopping. OF COURSE the mail is late today and I've done the walk twice now in this almost 90 degree heat (TX).
Oh, and I haven't been able to wear jeans yet this fall!

Can't get a break for mom who is on a limited income. Everything is going up EXCEPT her income. Seriously they took away free long distance calling to Italy and they're going up $20/mo

Damn teenagers and their sports. I teach dance and my older students are constantly missing class for games. I believe that kids should be well rounded and not forced to pick only one thing. But it's getting friggen annoying to teach 2 hour long private lessons when there's supposed to be 4 kids in class.

What's grinding your gears today?
The women who share the bathroom on my floor at work are friggin disgusting! We constantly have a clogged, nasty toilet because someone refuses to flush. So now we're down to 1 toilet, and it has been that way all week. Maintenance comes to force flush it, and it happens all over again. I think they're sick of it so they haven't come this week. And we don't have the pass code to the other floors.
