Insulation.
No kidding - we have a VERY old house - it's the bricks outside, wood studs and then the plaster walls. I might as well live in an igloo.

We haven't been buying much for ouselves lately, since we were just on vacation and the holidays are coming up, so my list is growing and growing!
A few things i'm dying for:
capiz pendant lamp for foyer

install new window & sliding door we already bought for great room
build new shed we bought
install new front walkway
build new front porch
new carpet on basement stairs, finish stairwell
new flooring in new guest room
windows treatments & bedding for guest room
flat panel tv for guest room
two recliners for guest room
decide on paint color for guest room
new dining room set before thanksgiving
buffet
Finish changing out windows to new doublehungs
new foam insulation & siding
exterior basement stairs
finish unfinished side of basement
and if I'm really wishing
new furniture for great room
solar roof panels
metal roof
small bay addition to great room
new gravel driveway

I'd like a $10000 gift card to Home Depot or Lowes...
stairs to be refinished w/carpet runner
new doors to basement from in and outside
all new windows
new sliding glass doors
central air
new driveway
all new landscaping, front and back
in ground sprinkler system
new larger deck (next year's project)
a gazebo or pergola in the yard
picket fence around front of yard
all the little projects around the house to be done.

For now, I'm looking for:
#1 Lit candles to put in the windows for the holidays. Ones that last that I dont have to plug in.
And #2 would be candle/candle holders to put on the insides of our columns we have between our LR and kitchen.
Havent found any we like yet. LOL

It's from west elm. I'm not sure it'll hang down far enough in our foyer (our ceilings are really high in there) since I don't think it's adjustable at the top. It says it hangs only 11" from the ceiling in the description... but I LOVE it.

We have only had our house for 10 months so my list could go on forever but here are my top 10:
1. Wooden Rocking Chairs for front porch
2. Bench for Foyer
3. A piece of art for the largest wall in our living room
4. Window Treatments for front window.
5. New dining room set- I want a dark wood farmhouse table that seats 10 and a buffet to disply our china.
6. Remodeled Kitchen- this won't be done for a couple more years.
7. Half Bath Remodel
8. Full Bath Remodel
9. New bannister for stairs and redo wooden steps
10. Pool- would love to do this before next summer if possible.

I have that chandelier from West Elm...I also have the smaller ones throughtout my house...they're beautiful!
