What's the best age for a jumperoo? Is 7 months too old?
DS just turned 7 months, he no longer has any interest in being in his bouncer seat, he always wants to be sitting up so that is soon to be packed away. He currently has an exersaucer that he loves, but I want him to have another option. I was thinking of getting a jumperoo because he bounces up and down in the exersaucer and gets a kick out of himself doing that! I just wasn't sure if 7 months is too old for a jumperoo? I also was thinking of getting a walker, but I know those can be dangerous and we do have stairs.....

It depends on the baby, is he pulling up to stand yet? or crawling, a jumperoo might be too confining for a baby that wants to go.
I have a baby einstein one I'd love to get rid of, want to try mine for free? FM me?

DS is almost 10 months old and we still occasionally use the exersaucer and jumperoo. He is climbing on everything and sometimes i need to confine him so i can run in the basement or somewhere otherwise he is climbing the starirs!! They are both good until 25lbs so DS is at 23 so we are almost at the end!

I think it depends on how close to walking he is and his weight.
DS was walking by 10 months, no interest in the jumperoo anymore. So it wouldn't be worth buying for 3 months.
To be honest, we never used the jumperoo at home. It was at daycare and then my in-laws, because it's huge!

If you can get it from someone you know/borrow it I say got for it!!
My DD is 5.5 months and we are so lucky to have got it as a hand me down from our neighbor.
Her son outgrew it @ 10 months.

My DD is 7 months and still uses the jumperoo! You can adjust the height to different levels so it will still work as they get bigger

I'm not sure you will get tons of use out of it...maybe if you can get one used/handed down it could be worth it.
Would you consider a walker? I know some people are against them. We have one and DD2 loves it as much as DD1 did! At 8 months (yesterday) she can turn around it in and go backwards). We live in a ranch and she is supervised in it. She has us walking around all over holding her hands so this gives us a little break here and there. Just a thought.

I was looking at walkers also, until recently I didn't think they even made them anymore!

DS used his from 4 to 11(ish?) months... At this point I would get one from a friend or Once upon a child, or the b/s/s
