What's the oldest video game system you've owned?

The "I remember when..." thread made me think about this.

I had an Atari 2600.

For those that need help remembering what they had, and how old it was...

I had Atari but I have no idea what the make was.

I STILL have Nintendo and Super Nintendo. I've played SNES within the last three years. I was playing Donkey Kong Country and I had almost beaten it again and someone erased my game! Chat Icon Haven't played since!

Our first was the original Nintendo system. It belonged to my brother, who was born in 1980.

We had Super Nintendo...it took us a while to beg our parents for a game system and them give in.

Re: What's the oldest video game system you've owned?

I had an Atari 2600 when I was 5. LOVED it!! Was the best thing ever. I was so sad when it broke.

Didn't own another video game system again until I was 17 and got a SNES. Guess my parents became anti-videogames for a while.

Then I had a Wii. We also have a PS3 (that's DH's).

ETA: Just remembered that I had a Commodore 64 just after they came out. Hahah, remember those big floppy disks?

Re: What's the oldest video game system you've owned?

I have an Intellivision. It was actually my sister's (who is 10 1/2 years older than me), but I played it all the time, and when my parents were ready to get rid of it, and she didn't want it at her house, DH and I adopted it. It doesn't work, but we can't part with it (or the games!)

ETA: DH has every non-handheld nintendo system, and they are all on display in our den. NES, SNES, Gamecube, N64, and Wii. Only the Wii is wired up, but we can hook them up at any time and play!

We had the original Nintendo. We bought before they made them with the zapper that came with Duck Hunt. I was happy to have the NES before my friends, but so jealous when they had Gumshoe and I didn't.

Same here. They were the stiffest joysticks ever. We luckily inherited better joysticks and never used these.
