What's the term for a non-kill shelter?
Someone I know needs to put their dog up for adoption, where is there a non-putting down shelter? Or what is the term they use she can search online?

No-Kill Shelters.
Can you post some information here regarding the dog such as the breed, sex, age and why she needs to re-home the dog? (Ie. is it a behavioral issue or allergy?)
Maybe someone here would be interested in adopting the dog or know someone who is. This has happened before on the Pets board.

Little shelter in huntington is a no-kill shelter. They are great over there. Take very good care of there animals

i could be wrong but i'm pretty sure the no kill shelters don't take dogs from people. like i said, i could be wrong.
