What's your heritage?
I thought this question might be interesting, and I don't recall seeing it asked here anytime in the recent past.
I'm 33% German, 25% Italian, and 20% Irish.
The rest is a mix of Native American, French, Dutch, and Scottish.

Dads side from Naples
But did ancestry DNA and it seems only 80% of my DNA is Italian.
The rest is listed as west Asia
Caucasus (thinking its Georgian descent Bc GGrandma spoke French)
Middle eastern
Obv I just say Italian lol all this DNA stuff is confusing

That I know of Irish/Russian / Swiss and Italian.
It's funny b/c I lived in London for a bit and whenever I got on this topic Europeans thought I was Spanish but here is the states, everyone thinks I am 100% Italian. I've been wanting to do one of those DNA tests for a while but I've heard that it's a bit of a scam. Everyone comes back a bit of everything.

Irish and Polish on my dad's side- his parents were born in Ireland/Poland. My mom's side- American, no idea what her heritage is.

I think people would be shocked that they aren't what they think if they did the DNA.
Going back far enough it would show that Italians are mixed with Greek and most Greeks have Turkish in them etc. Just like Irish have Scottish and English in there.
Truthfully we are all probably muts.

Very similar here. Irish, Swiss, Russian, and German.

Yup! The Italian comes up Italy/greece because of that
And Caucasus comes up Turkish and other ethnicities.
I found it to be so interesting!
My sister had less Italian and more other things. I want my brothers to do it too to see who got what from each parent.

Short answer:
Italian 50%
Irish 25%
Spanish 25%
BUT we got my mom a DNA kit last year. She always thought she was 100% Italian (her father was born in Sicily, her mother outside of Naples). Her father's family has blond hair and blue eyes and very fair skin. Turns out she had over 40% austrian/german heritage. The rest was a combination of Italian and eastern European ancestry.
My great grandparents on my father's side were born in the same town in Spain and emigrated to the US in the 30's. I keep saying I want to do a DNA kit and see if my grandmother comes up 100% Spanish.

And Arab... If you're Sicilian you can be a whole mix if you go back far enough.

But I got a GC for Christmas and I'm thinking of using it for the DNA test. Gotta do some reading up on it.
