whats your take on aunts and uncles?
Do YOU call YOUR aunts and uncles by their first names?
Does your KIDS call THEIR aunts and uncles by their first names?

If you mean Aunts and Uncles of DS then I call them by their first name and DS will call them Aunt X and Uncle X once he is able to talk. But, when I am referring to them in conversation with DS then I refer to them as Aunt and Uncle X

I call MY uncles by their first name only and my kids do the same. My nieces and nephews call us by our names only, the rare occasion I get Aunt Adrianna

I have always referred to my aunts and uncles my aunt x and uncle y. DH does not. My children will absolutely refer to their aunts and uncles (and even DH's aunts and uncles) with that "title" and we always refer to them that way.

This is what we do for Aunts and Uncles as well. I do have one cousin who we call 'Cousin Gene" I have no idea how it ended up this way but all other cousins we go by first name only.

i try and call my sisters and SIL "aunt" but i always forget - plus it sounds weird to me 
so once he learns to talk i will ask them what they prefer. if they don't mind DS calling them by their first name only i'll let him.
ETA: growing up i called my aunts and uncles "aunt jane" and "uncle john" but since college i have been calling them by their first names only and no one ever said a word.

I call them Aunt X or Uncle X or Zia or Zio. Never called by just first names. My son does the same..Aunt X or Uncle X, but most of the time it's Zia/Zio (first name) or Titsy (italian slang) is what he calls my SIL.

No and no. My children and I both call our aunts and uncles "Aunt" or "Uncle" So and So. For us, it's a sign of respect. My girls even call my close friends "Aunt" or "Uncle." The exception for some reason is my BIL Robert--DD began calling him "Bob" as a baby (strangely enough since no one calls him Bob), and it stuck with both of my girls!

Same here. It is definitely a sign of respect and I couldn't imagine calling my aunt/uncle by their first name or having DS call my brother "Ben".
It just seems weird to me.

I call my aunts and uncles with the title of aunt and uncle. I want my DD to do the same. Right now while she's learning to talk, I just say their first names but will have to start saying Aunt and Uncle very soon.

They use "Aunt" & "Uncle" followed by a first name. They don't call them only by their first names.

All of our aunts are Aunt XX and Uncle XX
My children call their aunt's & uncle's the same (Aunt xx and Uncle xx)
If they don't, I am right there behind them saying no that's Aunt or Uncle...
I have a neice that refers to me by my first name and my DH by his and I find it completely rude and disrespectful and have corrected her on numerous occassion but she's just doing what her parents teach her

This is how I feel as well. I listened to my cousin call my mom by first name this whole weekend and it mad eme CRINGE big time! I found it to be so disrespectful and I know she will most likely bring up her children the same. My mom was once "aunt" I dont know WTH happened to lose the aunt part 
As far as my dd, right now its uncle "FEFAN" (Ethan) so I am working on the EFAN more then the uncle right now but NEVER will she just call hime Ethan.

i call my aunt and unvcle by their first names-- always have. DH calls his, aunt x and uncle y...
i prefer dropping the aunt or uncle-- it feels too formal to me.

I would never call my aunts and uncles by their first names (or any adult for that matter).
The way children are raised in my country you have to be very respectful to adults(even if they are young) I always called them aunt X and uncle Y even other adults , like neighbors or my parent's friends are aunt... and uncle...
(we don't use MR ad MRS/miss)
I also never want my DD to call her uncles and/ or aunts by their first name.

all my nieces & nephew refer to me as "Titi Melissa" - from age 4 up to age 17 -- and that is something that will never change. even when they're 40. 
same thing for me -- i refer to my aunts & uncles as their title and then first name. "Titi Nelly" or "Tio Ramon"
when we have our own kids I will have my kids do the same -- refer to their aunts & uncles as so. just a sign of respect in my family.
