When are u going to stop working before your due date?

Hey girls......

This is mostly a question for girls that plan on being SAHM....How long are you going to work before your due date?

I'm not going to be a SAHM but I own my business so I can make my schedule. I plan to work up until the last possible day I can. In my business the holiday season is crazy for us and I really have to be here. Especially New Years Eve (i'm due Jan. 4th.) Hope I make it that far!

Not being a SAHM but I want to stay as close as I can to my due date (2/10).

I plan on being a SAHM & I will work up until I pop or feel like I am unable to work. I am off all summer though, so I am very lucky. My DD is Oct 3rd so I will go back in Sept and work until I can't. Then I plan on staying home for at least the first year.

Today is my last day of work. My "due date" is Thursday of next week.

I'm still on the fence about being a SAHM, I'm going to see how I like it.

I will not be a SAHM but I will be working up until either my water breaks or I go into labor.

I worked two jobs while preggo W/ DD2. Job # 1 was a part-time cook at restaurant. I stopped working there 1month before due date beacuse it was just too hot and I rarely took breaks. If I was pregnant in the winter near the end of my pregnancy I probably would have stayed until the end.
Job #2 I am working as an office manager for a small company. I am still here since I sit on my b u t t in the AC all day.

My due date is 7/26 so hopefully today is my last day

would like to work up until the very end since i only get 6 weeks, but i work in queens and live in east islip, so my dr was saying something about only working to 36 weeks... yikes. so i guess we will have to see when we get closer how it all goes.

I'm a teacher and due Sept 15. I'm working summer school now and that is over August 10. I was going to maybe go in the first week in Sept, but who knows. I might have her by then, and if not, I'm probably going to be exhausted...soo I don't think I will be returning in Sept.

So no more work for me 4 weeks before, but I'd go up to my due date or until I stopped feeling up for it.

I work very part time, so I will probably work up until my due date. Unless I physically cant do it.

I had originally planned on working up until 36 weeks until my body had other plans.

I work in construction doing manual labor all day long. Ladders, lifting, moving, etc.

I just went back to work last week at 24weeks. I hope to work for as long as possible because I've been unemployed so long. In reality I have absolutely no idea what to expect. The current job I am on has to be done mid October but they usually keep the 'shop guys' around, not the pee-ons like me.

My only current thought is I guess I'll work until I can't put my work boots on anymore.

I did find out that I get 18 weeks disability for a natural birth and 22 weeks for a c-section. If my company keeps me, I'll go back then. If I'm unemployed, I'll go back when my union hall puts me back to work.

I travel to the city which takes an hr and half each way. So I plan on stopping at 36wks and my dr agreed.
I plan on going back to work part-time, but prob will find something new.
