When did u switch to stage 3 nipples?
DD will be 6 months on Monday, and I think it might be time...

I think I tried it at 6 months but it was too fast. I tried again at 7 months and it was fine
It was when I noticed her bottles were taking over 45 minutes and she'd get frustrated!!

Do playtex drop ins have 3's - I have been looking all over but cant find them!!! 2's are way too slow for my porker!!!

I haven't switched, but I use stage 3 when I feed DD cereal in her milk and she's only 2.5mths and she does fine. I've even used stage 4.

6 months and a week.
But you can do it the old fashioned way... just sterialize a needle and make the hole a bit bigger and wah-la... you have converted your #2 nipples to #3.
That's the way they did it for years and years.
Of course, I only found this out three days after I went out and bought 12 #3 nipples

actually the Y cut nipples are made for cereal. Not sure if it will make a difference, just an FYI

My DD is 13 months old and still uses stage 2 . I actually bought the stage 3, but she doesn't seem to have a problem drinking her bottle. At this point maybe if she gets fustrated enough she will get the hint to use her sippy cup with milk. LOL
