When did you get DC a library card?
I didn't realize that babies need their own library card in order to attend programs.
Do you have a library card for your DC?

yes at my library DD needed her own card to register for programs so I got her one at like 6 months old!
It is different from when we were little...I remember being so proud to get my own library card when I was 5! big milestone that DD wont experience now..

just over the summer when I was home a lot and was able to walk to library.
She loved it and was so happy to get a card!

22 months. We needed it to register her for a program which was age specific.

Our library doesn't let kids get their own cards until they are 5 years old and can write their first and last names by themselves. Before that they use the parent's card to sign them up for classes and activities.

Landon was a few months old when we got his, so he could go to programs. It is the cutest library card picture ever!

It depends upon the library, all have different policies. Mine requires that the child write his/her own name (but no age requirement).

DD is a library-a-holic!!! 
My mom watches her 3 days a week, and they are there every week, at least once a week, for HOURS....
DD had her library card at about 2 I think.

The kids didn't need one to do any of the programs at the library, so we never got them their own right away.
When DS was in Kindergarten, we took him to get his own, and DD got her's by default then too, at age 3.

I think it was a 6m. We got a cute little gift bag with a suggested reading list, a bib, a set of teething keys & a board book when we signed him up!

He only needs a card to kids programs/crafts classes, etc...
