When did you go from cotton to wipes?

I had been using cotton balls (actually those make up pad removers) and water to clean Colin. The last couple of days, I'm getting lazy and using Ryan's wipes. How long did you do cotton & water??

Re: When did you go from cotton to wipes?

DS will be 4mths next week and I am still using cotton. Its more expensive than wipes!! I think I might switch to wipes once this supply of cotton is used up.

When i used up the paper wipey things they used in the hospital, I used a washcloth for all of one dayChat Icon and then switched to the wipes with the lanolin in them. Once I am done with this package, I switching to regular wipes. DS is 5 weeks old.

Re: When did you go from cotton to wipes?

cotton? never heard of that.

I used Viva paper towels which are super super soft. Used that with warm water. I guess I was using that until she was about 3months old. Then I moved to Pampers Sensitive. I have tried other brands and other types but sensitive is the ONLY one that is soft enough for my taste to put on her bottom. I can tell if its rougher it makes her bum red Chat Icon

So far I have finally found out Walmart Parent's Choice Sensitive is as close to the Pampers type I can find.

AJ is 14mo

We used disposable cotton wipes and water for about 3 weeks. I purchased them at BRU. We use the pampers unscented wipes now.

We used cotton and water until DS was 8 weeks. DH still uses cotton (DS is 16 weeks), but I'm pretty much completely on wipes now.
