I had been using cotton balls (actually those make up pad removers) and water to clean Colin. The last couple of days, I'm getting lazy and using Ryan's wipes. How long did you do cotton & water??
I never did......Ive never heard of that, how interesting.
Me neither....frag free wipes from day one...

Used the paper towel things with water in the hosp, wipes as soon as we got home.
This time I plan on bringing wipes to the hospital and using them from day 1.

in the hospital - we used face-cloths and water. as soon as we got home we used wipes.

Used sensitive wipes, DD got a terrible rash. Switched to cotton and used that for many mths. Then went back to wipes, DD still gets a bad rash if we use them too often. So we mostly still use cotton/water at 1 yr old.

I waited until my DS's were healed from the circumcision and then started using Pampers Sensitive wipes.

I used Huggies Baby Wipes from the moment we took DD home from the hospital. She never had a problem with them.
EDIT - Ooops!! Are we talking  or  here or and ????  Obviously DD has no pishcadell but on her tush we used wipes.

same here and when I ran out of those I tried sensitive wipes and DD got a terrible diaper rash, so I bought Viva paper towels and used that for about 6 more weeks or so. I also babysat a little one few years back and I used (mom's request) the towel like wipes for 4 weeks before switching to regular wipes.
Honestly I never really heard of using cotton balls before

we started with wipes but then ds, who had a lovely hemangioma in the swipe zone, ended up with an infection of his hemangioma so we actually had to switch to cotton balls and baby oil as per his ped derm.... that lasted about a month until it was healed and then we went back to wipes but only use them sparingly... really just when he poops and first thing in the am...

I use unscented, sensitive wipes(either pampers or Huggies) Huggies box is much better-the pampers dispenser sucks

I used cotton balls, or the wipes from the hospital probably for 6 to 8 weeks. I tried the wipes, but went back to the cotton since Sash has a sensitive tush!
