when did you let DC watch tv/videos?

Natalie will be 6 mths next week and we don't show her any videos or tv. I know at daycare (at least the one she goes to 2x a week) they have Noggin on and stuff for the older ones and so she sees it then, which doesn't bother me, but I don't want her to really start watching stuff just yet.

Joey is the same age as Natalie. I let him watch about 30 min. a day. Chat Icon It's usually a Baby Einstein DVD or Sesame Street. I don't really like him watching more than that. It's usually in the late afternoon while I am getting dinner ready before DH comes home.

I let DD watch 30 mins in the morning and 30 at night. She usually watches one episode of the Backyardigans, and one baby einstien per day.

I really limit the TV. At 19 months she watches a couple of times a week and my limit is 30 minutes. I DVR a couple of shows and she watches from those. I learned my lesson with DS. He watched TV more than he should as a toddler and we battle with it now at age 9.

I limit it to only one episode of Sesamee Street (1/2 morning, night) It makes my life easier Chat Icon With the two of them I need a few minutes to shower or get dinner ready. However, they didn't start watching it until around their 1st birthday.
