When did you recieve or pick your C-Section date?
How far in advance did you doctor schedule your C-Section date?
Does anyone know if Southside does them on the weekend?
When I had DD, I was able to schedule it for a Sunday morning.

Are you with Dr P? I know he has certain surgery days. I plan to ask this next week when I see him. He only mentioned doing it around 39 weeks.

mine scheduled me 8 weeks before to go at 39 weeks. my office doesnt schedule weekends.

I picked my date, my OB will submit the paperwork 60 days before the surgery.

I wasn't able to schedule a date at Southside for the weekend, but that could have been my OB office. I used Contemporary Women's Care and they only scheduled M-F

Yes, I am with Dr. P and he did my first on a Sunday at Good Sam.

Mine were always scheduled around 28 weeks. I never made it to them since my deliveries were preterm.

36 weeks since the baby was still breech at that point. Had the baby turned, we would have delivered naturally but wound up with a C. I also opted out of trying any method to turn the baby because the risks scared me.

My OB told me it was best to decide if I wanted a repeat c-section by 28 weeks since the hospital books up quickly. I'm delivering at LIJ though.
For my first, DS was breech at 34 weeks and that's when we decided to do a c-section. I was scheduled at 36 weeks for 39w1d, but delivered at 38 weeks so never made it to my scheduled date.
ETA: I just had my 24 week appt today and my OB put the request in with her office to schedule my c-section. She said it should be scheduled by/around my 28 week appt.

I picked my date at 30 weeks. I go to Dr. Miller in Garden City and will be delivering at Winthrop.

They said he had surgeries this sat so I think he just does them all the time. Lol. I never scheduled mine bc I went early last time.

I am delivering at Southside. I got my c-section date at my last OB appt so that was 31 weeks. So they scheduled it sometime between my appointments at 27-31 weeks. My guess is they did it just after my 27 week appointment.
He wanted it two weeks out from my due date, because of my myomectomy, but they only schedule so many a day and I guess Saturday/Monday were already booked and they don't do scheduled c-sections on Sundays.
