When did you start the transition to regular milk
DD is 11 months and 1 week to be exact....when should I try the transition. I know the ped told me the last time at a year but for her next visit she will be a year. Should I wait to start her then or start her now. TIA!

I did it at just about your DD's age, w/o asking hte ped and I did it cold turkey. Milk in a cup and we never looked back

We made the change cold turkey also... after the 12 month ped visit.

I started at about 11 months. I mixed milk with formula, about half and half until 12 month ped visit. Dr. said we could switch 100% to milk, so we did, and have had no problems

DD will be 1 tomorrow. I started mixing formula and milk yesterday only bc I still have a few cans of formula left. Otherwise I would have went cold turkey. She didn't seem to notice!

We didn't start trying to switch until probably 12 months or even a few weeks after b/c DD is not a great eater, and I wanted her to have the added good stuff from formula for as long as possible.
