When did you stop caring the baby around in the infant carseat?
When did you stop bringing your child from the infant carseat to the car? Did you just leave the infant seat in the car and take the baby in and out of it?
My carseat is starting to get heavy and with the baby everyday I'm thinking about just leaving the infant carseat in the car and taking her in and out myself.

I think I stopped using it around 5-6 months- DS was a big boy, so as soon as it started getting warmer out I just started carrying him in and out without the carrier.

DD is getting heavy too! But if she's sleeping when we go somewhere I take her out while in the car seat so I don't wake her (and use the snap n go). If she's up I take her out and put her in the regular stroller.
When we get home I always keep her in the car seat and bring her in.
ETA: DD is 5 months.

I switched to the convertible rear facing carseat at around 4 months with all of mine.

Around 8-9 months. At 10 months we switched to the convertible seats.

we are still using the infant seat - emma's a tall/skinny gal (no idea where she got that gene).
if she's AWAKE when we arrive somewhere and she's going out (like, not into the house).....we put her right into the stroller.
if she's sleeping or seems tired (like she'll fall asleep while we're in the store or whatever) - we'll leave her in the infant seat and put her in the stroller that way.
if we're only going in or out of the house - we use the carseat.
