Was it before or after your first Sonogram?

I told my mom the day after I found out!
I always thought I would wait to tell her after the 1st sono but I just couldn't wait!

We told our IL's the night we found out and our parent's we told as soon as they got back from vacation. I wanted to tell them in person not over the phone.

I told my MIL on Sunday morning. I couldnt take being sick so I called her for advice. I told my parents that night.

I wanted to wait until after my first appt but I really couldnt take being so sick.

My parents on christmas eve...DH's parents on Christmas Day.

I was about 5 weeks along and just had my first sonogram 2 days prior.

We told our parents at a dinner we hosted 2 weeks after the BFP (a few days after the 1st dr. appointment). But we hadn't had a sono yet. I was only about 5 weeks preggo at that time.

Before the first sono about 2 weeks after BFP. I was around 5 1/2 weeks.

I can't believe that I don't remember. I think it was around 5 weeks?

I was just about to ask this...my first appt isn't till the 28th...I don't know if I can keep it to myself that long!

Right away on Thanksgiving. I was 5 weeks.

I love my dad more than the world itself.

It’s killing me to not tell him but I know him too well (I take after him)

My biggest fear is miscarriage now, followed closely by birth defeats and complications.

I don’t want to tell him and then he’d worry as much as I already do. Ya know?

PLUS we are flying to Orlando during the second week of Feb. If he know I was preggos he’d probably have a fit that I was flying, regardless that the doctors ok it.

I haven’t seen a doctor and won’t until Feb 25th.

I feel I should wait until I know for sure everything’s alright. I’m 6W now and by my appt I’ll be in my 13W. That’s 7 long weeks… UGH

Ugh - I am fighting with DH about this!

He wants to wait until we are 12 weeks to tell ANYONE. I am going CRAZY!

I think it would be okay to at least tell our parents after my 1st sonogram (I should be around 7 weeks).

He says our parents have big mouths and once we tell them that the world will know. (Deep down, I know he's right, but I feel strange not telling my Mom)!

i told them after my first pregnancy test. They knew we were trying. I am not good at holding things like that in

no one knew we were trying. We decided to wait until the 1st sonogram.

WE didnt tell until 10 weeks

Just because it fell around Christmas time, so we held off

WE told on Christmas Eve and gave little onesies and the sono pic in a frame

Everyone couldnt believe we held out that long! lol

I handed my mom the pregnancy test the day I found out....I am not good at keeping secrets!

They day we found out we called our parents to tell them our news.

We told my mom and sisters and his family before the first sono at 6 weeks 2 days. It took me alot longer to tell my dad.
