When did your baby start sleeping through the night?

Because ill be a sahm ive been considering putting the bassinet in the guest room and sleeping there for the first few weeks, so dh can get sleep, he works long hours, and I know he needs his sleep, I can always nap during the day, while the baby does, but he wont have that option. How long would I be in another room?

Also, Ive been thinking about buying one of those mini fridges, to store overnight bottles, so I dont have to go all the way downstairs, has anyone else done that?

4 months. I formula fed and used those little nursette bottles and put them on the nightstand. My DH and I also slept in a seperate room with babies so the other one could get a good night of sleep.

DD just started sleeping through at 2 1/2 months

about 6-7 weeks. coincidentally the same night we put her in her own room. prior to that, DD lived 24/7 in the living room and DH and I took shifts at night.

6 weeks. We used the little ready to feed nursers so we wouldn't have to go downstairs. If we needed 4 oz we would use 2.

Damien was about 11 months.

My little girl has been sleeping through the night since just about day one. We put her right into her crib from the beginning and except for a few days here and there she has slept pretty much from 11:30 pm to 6am. We have been SUPER lucky in the sleeping department.

2 months, but shes always been a great sleeper.

I am also a sahm. When Josh wakes at 4:30 ish, I always stay in his room(queen size guest bed in there) and let Leo have a few more hours of sleep.ETA: I would not recommend setting up shop in the guest room.

Just go in there during an early morning waking. If yours is like mine, go to bed with him each night...it doesn't matter if you wake up next to him though. Try to keep things as normal as possible. Husbands are hard.

My brother and SIL do that-he sleeps in the guest room everytime they have a new baby. You probably could try sleeping in a different for awhile. The baby may not sleep through the night but may sleep 4-5 hrs before waking up to eat. My DD will sleep something like 4-5 hrs-nurse then go right back to sleep for another 3 hrs.

We got lucky..Noah slept through the night at 5 and 1/2 weeks...One night it was 5 hours, the next night 9 hours and then it was 11 + till now ( its regressed to about 8 hrs now)...

my son was 15 months, but I was bf. I think the mini fridge is a great idea.

and yes, we've had a mini-fridge in DD's room since the beginning and it was a lifesaver!!! totally worth it!

Neither of my boys sleep through the night - 2.5 yrs and 9 months.

I have not been blessed with children who sleep.

Gavin is starting to get better at 7 weeks. He sleeps from about 8:30-5....but not always..

I bring up a soft cooler with an ice pack with his bottles in it, and the warmer, those nursers bottles are great but very $$$$$$$.....

Also, we put my glider in the spare bedroom and I just get out of bed and go in there to feed him, this way I can still sleep with DH....Gavin has been in his crib since day 2.
