when did your DC understand how to use a sippy cup?
DDs are almost 7 months, we have been practicing using it everyday now, but they just bite on the top and play with it.

I gave one to Matthew the other day and he grabbed it and started sucking on it like his bottle, I havent tried it on Christopher yet.

I started giving it to them at 6 months and it took both my kids about 2 months to know and use it well.

i switched sippy cups and hannah is doing so much better.she used to use the regular nuby with the spout and now hannah uses the one with the straw and she drinks so much better from it.

I gave it to my daugther around 5 months old - she played with it at first and a couple days later starting sucking and taking sips from it.
Its completely normal - he will get the hang of it soon

I started around 4 mths or so. She had the hang of it within a few weeks.

I gave DD a reg sippy at 7 months all she did was bite it.
I switched to the Nuby's with the straws and she's been sipping out of them since about 8-9 months old.
