when do the internal sonos stop
or are they done throughout the entire pregnancy?
eta: i had one at 6 weeks and another at 8 weeks just wondering what i will have next at my 11 week

I had one at 6 and 8 weeks. Then my next monthly appt. at 11 weeks was external.

Only my 8 week sono was an internal. After that they've all been external.

I still have internals because they always want to check my cervix since it's thin. But I believe the externals usually start when you're approaching the second trimester.

I had internals @ 6 weeks (at the high risk Dr), 8 weeks (at my OB), 9 weeks (at the High risk).
Then at 11 weeks i had a transabdominal at my OB and at 12 weeks i had one at the High Risk.
SO I would say about 11 weeks is the cut off.
Actually, one thing, they did both at my 12 week bc the were looking for the hemtoma they knew i had and didnt see it on the transabdominal.

I had internals at 6 and 10 weeks. Ultrascreen at 12 weeks was external.

I had an internal at 8 weeks this pregnancy and at 4 & 6 last one. After that (11 last time, 12 weeks this one) they were done on my tummy.

Internals: weeks 7, 9 and 11.
Externals: Weeks 21 and 22.
