I'm 38 weeks and I'm not sure when I should do this. I plan on BF, but also bottle feeding from the beginning. My sister said the hospital gives you some bottles.

are you sterlizing the old way or in a sterilizer?
If you are using a sterilizer you can wash all the stuff and leave it in there and turn it on when you are home with baby.

well they dont suggest you sterlize all the time anyways, just once when you buy the stuff .
So you can wash it now and sterilize everything and put it away for future use, and then wash right before use.
If you have a dishwasher you can put it in there but do not use the dishwashing chemicals if you are using bpa free bottles, use a mild solution
