When giving gifts to preschool staff? (gifts to class assitants?)
My son has a summer program in his preschool which will be ending soon. His class is 2 teachers and approx. 3 helpers or assistants to the class. These people will hold the kids hands when walking down the hallways, change them etc..There are times I see the same ones in the class sometimes there are new ones...I have purchased two thank you cards and gift certificates for the two teachers but don't want to forget the assistants even though they keep changing in his class.
Did you give a gift of appreciation to the helpers too? If so, what? I was thinking maybe a platter of cookies from a bakery or crumb cake.

Today is my DS' last day of his EI seperation class! He has 2 teachers and a ton of assistants (between his class and his ABA class). I did exactly what you were thinking...I'm bringing in cookies and mini cupcakes for all the assistants. I was going to do bagels or something like that, but, the cookies is just easier and they can "pick" on them all thru today, share them with the classes, whatever they want to do. I just wanted to show some kind of appreciation. For his teachers/therapists they're all getting GCs.
