preschool teacher holiday gifts

I am all about giving dds a teacher a nice gift,but its very frustrating that she has THREE teachers. SHe only goes three hours twice a week, just wondering what type of amex certificates would be a fair amount?

So you want to give gift cards or actual gifts?
I'm doing actual gifts, but I also contributed 35 dollars to a class fund that will get pooled and divided amongst the three teachers.
I got each teacher a decorative jewelry box from Pier 1, a piece of handmade jewelry to go inside (I work in the same school, so I happen to know her teachers' taste), and matching scarves and gloves. I'd say, overall, I spent 25 dollars each in total.

If she only goes for a short time, why dont you do Starbucks or Barnes and Noble cards? That way you could do $15-$20 on each or so

Most families at our school give $10-$20 per teacher for the holidays and then again at the end of the school year.

I think Starbuck and DD GCs are great. A little amount actually does buy something. I'm giving them to the floaters in DC daycare (FT teachers will get cash)
