When in daycare, do people changing diapers wear rubber gloves or not? edited with one more ? first post
Just asking b/c I am curious, as the thought occured to me when changing my DDs diaper how do they do it in daycare.
edited with another ?
Do they have to wear gloves when handling DCs food? You know, like in restaurant kitchens, etc.

yes, they are required to wear gloves. No fee that I'm aware of. I guess it's part of the cost.
They also have that deli type paper or the paper at the Doc's office that they use to cover the changing pad each time and then throw it out right after

I worked at Tutor Time in Levittown and it is required to wear gloves and believe me we all wanted to  !!!

Thats great!! I worked at a daycare over 10 years ago, but we weren't required to then! I def think the workers should!

Just curious again how daycare works.
No gloves as far as I've seen ... maybe the people in the kitchen doing prep do though.

At my DS's daycare they use gloves for diaper changing and when they serve them finger foods. The also use those sheets on the changing pad....

Yes, they wear gloves to change his diaper - they also wash their hands AND his after each diaper change. - They also wear gloves to handle his food and feed him

i worked in daycare for 6 years. they are required to wear gloves and change them before moving on till the next chilld.
It is also required to wear gloves when handling the food too.
