when is "winter" break for high schools and colleges?
we want to go skiing in feb for a few days upstate, but try to stay clear of when kids have off from school. i know there's a lot of teachers on here... can anyone help me out? thanks!

That's when I'm off too. Colleges shouldn't be off until March for Spring Break, so if you avoid that week, you should be ok.

I work for a college and we have off Dec 20th to Jan 2nd and then the first week in March.
