When making the switch to milk...

So, DS is almost 11 months and the ped said I can switch him to milk. So he's had milk for over a month now in his sippy and was still getting formula.

Well, now the formula is done. Yesterday was his first fill day on milk and my mom said he had diareah all day. Would that indicate lactose intolerance? He never had it before from the milk, but he didn't have the milk in such large quantities.

I'm going to see how he is today and if he's the same, I'll give him soy milk. I just want to know if it's normal for his poopies to be runny.

my boys had runny poop for a few days, and it got lighter, it maye just be the switch.

If you transitioned him over slowly, I'd be surprised if it was the milk.

Thanks! That's what I was thinking. he could just be having a tooth poke through.

Jen was saying she has bad cramps. And it's ironic she just told me on Sat. and now this is happening. Which is why I was thinking that it's NOT the milk.

I was thinking he could just be ajusting or getting a tooth. He always has runny poop when he gets a tooth. My mom said she doesn't remember what happened with her kids.

Ryan was the same way when we started milk. I decided to give him half milk/half formula to ease him into it. We did that for about a week and then went to straight milk and he was fine.
