use coupons when food shopping as much as i can

buy only stuff that is needed so things like milk and juice vs. chips and stuff i usually buy when we have the money

buy stuff on sale

buy generic brands as much as possible

work a part-time job - like waitressing

collect and change in coins

sell something nice on ebay -- meaning, like we have a treadmill we don't use and have been talking about selling for a while b/c it is really nice and new but we don't use it b/c of my bad knees and we have an elliptical instead - so, we would sell something like that if we needed extra cash.

I don't generate extra money, but I cut things out that aren't necessary spending so I have some extra cash left over every week. Cut down on Starbucks, dinners out, rent a movie instead of going to the theater, etc.
