When on Clomid how many days did it take you to ovulate?
I started it the day after Thanksgiving and still have not ovulated. I have gone for 3 sonos and still nothing
Is it possible that it just won't happen?
ETA-I was on it for 5 days and it was 50mg

I Oed by cd17 after ending my last pill on cd9. So thats 8 days after the last pill.
eta: so you only just finished your last pill monday?? you prob wont O til this coming week. What cd are you on?

thats so early to O. On clomid i got +opk on cd16 the first month, cd17 the 2nd mon, and cd18 the 3rd month

Uh I thought it was like 5 days after you finished the last pill I feel like going for these sonos is completely POINTLESS

The point of the sonograms is to measure how many follicles you have and how large they are.
Your dr should be explaining these things to you.

ITA.
I go for sonos a few times a week. You get to see how man follies you have and how large they are and how thick your lining is... it's all for monitoring and it's definitely necessary!

I never ovulated on 50 or 100 mgs of clomid. The ONE time clomid made me ovulate I was taking 150 mgs and it was day 21 or something of my cycle.

You don't trigger until you have at least one dominant/mature follicle.
CD13 is very early to surge on Clomid. I never surged/triggered until at least CD21-23

Yes, but I also never ovulate or get AF on my own EVER. If your follicles arent growing by a certain point, they will probably nix the cycle. Why dont you ask them at your next sonogram. How big are your follicles?

See this was not explained to me...And I am pi$$ed off because I have been going for sonos since Friday morning..Now I have to go again tomorrow. Get up really early and try and get there by 6AM...this is why I am asking

when my follicles werent growing and it was getting further along in my cycle. On 50 mgs they knew pretty much right away because my follies never grew above 10mm

I get being pi$$ed off for it not being explained to you, but the sonos are being done for a reason. This is standard protocol, they are not making you come in for sonos for no reason.

If I were you, Id ask more questions when youre there. what they are looking for, why, at what point they decide you will/will not ovulate etc.
I have dr. kenigsberg's book if youd like it.... It explains a lot about the IF process.

I was on Clomid for 3 cycles and 2 cycles I triggered on CD 12 and 1 cycle I triggered on CD 14.

Try bringing a little notebook with you. I keep one in my bag and write down questions as I think of them - then once I'm at the RE, I can just take out the book and ask anything I need to ask. Or just write them down in your planner or whatever you use...
