When should you switch from "Puppy" to "Adult" food?
I have a 90lb yellow lab. He's going to be 1 on March 5th. He is currently eating Purina Beneful Puppy dry food. Any suggestions when we should start to introduce him to the adult dry food? 1 year, 18 months, 2 years?????

we slowly started introducing our dog to adult food at a year. We just mixed it in with the puppy food for about a week or two then she was fully on adult food.

When I spoke to my vet about it they told me when the dog turns 1 year to 1 1/2 year to gradually switch the food.

We are shooting for a year, but when our huge bag runs out I'm not going to buy more puppy. I think our puppy is nearly done growing & he doesn't need all those extra calories.
