When to retire the swing

so DS loved his swing in the beginning but now that hes 4 months old, he doesnt seem interested in it anymore, like its boring him LOL. He is so active and would rather be on the playmat or rocker.
When did your DC lose interest in the swing?
TIA!

Re: When to retire the swing

DD is 17mo and still enjoys her swing. We're going to have to retire it soon, though. She is able to climb in and out of it on her own... Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Jack actually just started to take naps in it a few weeks ago. I'm hoping I can use it for alittle while longer. It's so much easier then rocking him to sleep! Chat Icon

Christopher fits in his still, but the same thing as you, he wants to be mobile. When I was home with him, he used to nap in it, but DH has gotten him to nap in the crib, so we really don't need it anymore.

That being said, it is still in our living room bc we are having a hard time putting it away....or we are just lazyChat Icon
