With my first two I waited to over 1yrs old however with my 3rd I stopped at about 7mos

I was worried about the regular detergent because I have very sensitive skin, so I used the Dreft on all her stuff plus all of my shirts for a few months. But as she got older I would forget sometimes, and once I realized she was fine with the regular detergent I just used up the old bottle and never bought Dreft again.

Guess I'm in a minority but i used it for 2 weeks then over to regular detergent. He never had a reaction or skin sensitivity! It made sense, baby detergent is ridiculously priced!

never used baby detergent...just used free and clear...At 9 months, I started using scented detergent and she is fine with it
