My good friend went last night to find out the sex of the baby UPDATE AGAIN
We didn't get a phone call last night until late and it was a text from her husband saying he will call us today. So my hubby wrote back is everything OK and he said NO.
I'm so upset right now. She was 19 weeks and we just had dinner with them on Sunday and she was talking about finding out the sex and how excitied they were.
I just don't know what to do.
Thanks for letting me post this not sure if I should of even put it on this forum.

UDATE: We didn't hear from them yesterday but today her husband texted my husband and say he will try to call us today. They are having a really hard time dealing with this. They did lose the baby. I'm so sad. Thanks everyone for your prayers please keep them in your thoughts. I don't understand my life has to be so hard and unfair sometimes.
Update again 2/1/08 I spoke with a family friend and they told me that the baby had spinabifida, water on the brain and club feet. please pray some more I know this was a really hard decision for them to make. My heart breaks for them.

She lost the baby? I don't really understand from your post except that it's not OK. I will say a prayer for her and her DH.

It could be anything from the worst to they need to check into something further (which could be nothing).

Sometimes they require further testing at the level II which turns out to be nothing.

I hope everything works out for her. I remember being so excited to find out the sex, I had to keep reminding myself that it was more important to find out that I was having a healthy baby.

I'm not sure yet we haven't talked to them yet today but it doesn't sound good. Please pray everything will be ok

I hope that everything is fine. Is it something serious? or they are upset that they couldn't get a look at the sex.
Sometimes they find things and always give the worst case senario - I'm keeping them in my prayers.
