when u are the only adult in the house what do u do to keep your sanity?
Dh is away on a business trip and it's the kids, my animals and ME!!! Yikes. Suggestions to keep me busy so I don't turn into one of the teletubbies.

Well, since hubby works overnights and sleeps during the day, i'm ALWAYS the only adult in the house, however, i only have one child and two cats, so it's not too bad. I brought our big slide inside yesterday and let her slide down into a pool of pillows. I also bake with her, she loves that. I let her "wash" dishes with a sponge in the sink or build a fort in the den.

That's so cute. We built a fort in the living room yesterday!

I talk to the voices in my head. They keep me nice and sane. Clucking like a chicken helps too.
