When was the last time you got a tetanus shot?
I think you're supposed to get a shot every 10 yrs. or so and I think I am way overdue but I am too scared to get one

2003.... I got a complete medical work-up when I began my post-doc.
they tested everything, did titers on all of my prior immunizations and gave me a tetanus booster...
I think it should be given more frequently than every 10 years... I vaguely recall it should be every 4-7

I got one in 2003 too. I sliced my finger on a metal object and they gave it to me at Urgent Care.

About 5 years ago after my cousins dog bit me and I had to get stiches. I also contracted a staff infection

1993. My arm blew up like a softball. It was then that I found out that I am allergic to Tetanus shots. Who the heck is allergic to Tetanus shots?? There are alternatives to the booster shot. Now I take pills instead.

I got on in 6/01 part of the requirement to start nursing school. That an the Hep B vaccine. Most people don't keep up with it. If you ever take a trip to the ER they will usually give one to you there.

I got one when I was 14 . So 13 years ago
When I went away to college in 1998, they told me I didn't have to get one since I got one when I was burned when I was 14.

I went to a third world country on my honeymoon and wasn't taking any chances!

I think it is good for up to 10 years and then you only need to get one if you are exposed to something that can affect you?
I had one in Feb/March 2007, when I stepped on a piece of a broken lead crystal bowl. Other than that it was 1995 in college, I slipped on some ice and fell onto some rusty porch.
