When you break your water, does it have a smell??
My friend thinks she might have broken her water, but isnt sure.

according to the laugh and learn video, it ideally should be clear and oderless.
If it has an odor, it likely is pee or a discharge.
if it IS her water, and it has a color (ex green), she should go to the hospital now, and not labor at home. They like to monitor the baby more if myconium was in the water......

no smell... it leaked not broke.. was just different from pee but it didnt GUSH out.. just sorta leaked here and there but it was obviously NOT pee! haha

Myconium is basically the waste that the baby eliminates in utero. It can be very dangerous if the baby ingests or aspirates it.
