When you clean your house/home...
Do you clean it at different levels depending on WHO is coming over?
If I have family over, I straighten up the best I can...
If I have friends over, I will clean, dust and vacuum....
If I have someone "new" over my house, I scrub this place like the dickens! 
Am I the only one that cleans like this?

But the bathroom is always cleaned the same no matter who's coming!! Takes me almost 2 hours everytime!! i'm in there with q-tips and toothpicks making sure I get everything! i'm obsessed with a clean bathroom!!

Yes, but mine is the opposite. I do like a basic clean up for friends, but if my mom is coming, everything gets scrubbed down.
Its not like my friends will be in the shower when the come over for dinner.

When I have friends over I dust and vacuum, wipe everything down the best I can.
With family, I scrub everything! I go nuts. LOL.

I do the same also, but for the most part I can keep up....Joe however, is always in a panic because he's a slob and has 50 things to "organize" before anybody comes over

LMAO! I never thought about it but I guess I do this too. My SIL's father is coming over tomorrow to see my siding before hiring the guy who did it and I feel like I should super clean bc he's never been here before. other family or friends know my house isn't always a mess but he's never been here and may never be or at least for a long time be here again so he will have that impression of our house.

Yes.
If I am going to have family/good friends over (possibly sleep over since I'm OOT), I call the housekeeper.
If it's just my mom and dad, no.
If it's my DH's friends, no.

I am just the same way... except my version of 'the dickens' is probably significantly less intense than most people!

I do this too. For our friends who are always over, I barely touch a thing. But if anyone else comes over, I go nuts on the place. DH thinks it's funny lol.

I have a cleaning lady- so I don't do much unless we are having a party
if people are just stopping by- I try to clean up alittle
before the cleaning lady- i was more anal about it- but now- I just like to wait for her
