When you first started feeding your DC cereal...

Where did you sit them for this? I don't break out the highchair just yet right -- do I just keep him in his bouncy?

Prob. a stupid question - I apologize in advance! Chat Icon

I would fed Julia in her bouncy on the floor.

I used the highchair, but DS did not like the bouncy. I think at this age either is fine.

I use both the highchair and bouncy. It depends on what kind of mood DD is in. Sometimes she's more comfortable eating in the bouncy.

The Papasan seat for about 2 weeks, then we finally put them in the high chair.

DD who is 4 1/2 months is still in the peapod/bumbo chair. I put it on the table. Perhaps in a month or so I'll take the highchair out.

We actually asked our Ped and she told us her opinion is that DC should be able to sit during and afterwards - something he can not do in the bouncy. We broke out the High chair & he loves it Chat Icon

is it OK for them to be in the highchair so young? (my DS 3 months old). i mean with regard to neck control. If you guys used the highchair when they were around that age, maybe i will break mine out too, as i was going to use the bouncy seat also.

DS has incredible neck control. That is the only reason why we even tried it.

we used the bumbo, but we hadn't bought the highchair yet. Otherwise I probably would have put her in that (if she fit ok.)
