Usually $1-2/day depending on how messy I've been 
ETA: I don't tip every day, I just leave a lump-sum when I check out.

I do $3 per person per night stayed. So for example DH and I go away for 3 nights. It's $6 per night x 3 = $18 total
And I leave it on the dresser/nightstand the day I check out.

We probably average $2-3 per night. We usually leave it at the end of the trip but I want to try getting in the habit of leaving daily so I know the person cleaning is getting the tip.

I have just never thought of it, usually when I'm checking out I have a thousand other things on my mind!

I leave $5 a day, and leave it each day. Say there are 5 different people tending to the room? So whoever does it that day gets it.

Me, too. $2-3 per night at the end. But I want to start leaving it daily now.
