It was an "oops" (which we call a happy surprise) but not a "how did that happen"....I know darn well how it happened. 
First time we ever "let one slip past the goalie" on accident though...ever.

We wanted to wait for our 1 year anniversary. The after reading so much on the TTC boards I said I think we might want to try 3 months before. Of course it happened on our first month trying! We were happy but nervous since it happened so quickly.

TTC for all my pregnancies.
But after we were married I stopped BC and charted/PNP - so was pretty much always open to an unplanned pregnancy. After 2 under 2 - back on the pill for the first time in 5 yrs

same with us! we were going to wait for our 1 year. we started around our 10 month anniversary and got pregnant our 1st month TTC. We announecd it to our family on our 1st anniversary

I cant vote because all three were different:
Genevieve (#1) was whatever happens, happens. Well, it happened on the first shot.
Billy (#2) was a complete Oops, I still cant figure out what happened there. If i didnt carry him for 9 months, I'd think he wasnt mine
Charlie (#3) was completely planned and we were TTC. First month was a bust, second with OPK gave me my BFP.
I'm fertile myrtle. Stay away from me unless you want to get pregnant

We were like- yeah ok maybe we'll start to try.
I figured it would take months if not years- I was the most irregular person in the world and just always assumed it would take a long time and a lot of medical intervention.
Ummm- NOT!
First try and BAM.
I was deep in denial for a while... I really thought I'd have more time to prepare myself....

We were TTC but the month we got pregnant was the month I threw in the towel, tracking everything! and BAM just like that. Took us about 6/7 months next time around it's going to be "whatever happens"

Went off BCP on July 5th got my BFP on August 2nd....BDed ONCE!

I put other because we weren't trying at all it was more like oh just this once, nothing will happen and if it does great and guess what happened? Got pregnant from that one time! (Dh is is very proud of himself for that )

I have to say a mix between TTC and we'll see what happens approach. We had planned on "trying" in July, but said who cares in June, if it happens that is ok too. Well it happened right away. I have no trouble getting preggers it is just carrying that gives me trouble.

For me with Teddy I had three miscarriages and after the last one I was distraught and told DH "I give up." I miscarried the last one really early and I found out I was preggo with Teddy the beginning of March. For some reason despite all things against him he stuck.
Andrew we tried I got knocked up, it stuck.
I am super fertile!!!! With each pregnancy I got pregnant right away. So now we are super protected.

We wanted to start trying around our 1 year anniversary. I came off BC 6 months before at the suggestion of my OB and got preggo 2 months later...so I guess you can say it was a take it as it comes approach.
