When you picked your WW goal....

did you pick a weight within the range for your height, age, sex? Did you pick from the lower end or the higher end?

I picked the highest end number just b/c I felt it would be enough of a weight loss for me to be happy with the results. And I feel the lower weight range for my height is just not realistic for me anymore. But sure, I plan to go as low as possible.

Just wondering where in your range did you pick?

I picked the higher end of my height/weight goal. The lower end is impossible. I mean, I would look sickly thin at that weight, and it is completely unrealistic.

Re: When you picked your WW goal....

Originally I chose a weight right in the middle of my weight range. I ended up losing about 15lbs under that, so eventually I changed my goal weight to reflect something more realistic.

Re: When you picked your WW goal....

My goal weight when I started would still make me overweight. I was in the 160s when I got married and I felt really good at that weight. So that was my initial goal when I started. Now that I'm in the 160s I realize my body is not the same as it was when I was this weight 5+ years ago, so now I'd like to lose another 20lbs, but I'll still be outside my weight range for my height.

Re: When you picked your WW goal....

I chose my goal weight as my pre pg weight. I was happy with it the 1st time and I did vary 1-2lbs below it but was able to maintain it.

2nd time around after twins, pre pg weight didnt cut it. I was able to use that weight since I was already lifetime....so I lost more.

I picked a weight at the higher end. Ideally, I look and feel my best at the weight right in the middle.
I have never in my life weighed in at the low end, except for maybe in my childhood. Chat Icon

I picked the highest for my range because at the time I thought that I would never get there and then I went below it a little, I still keep it as the higher number
