When you weaned your DC from BFing did he/she sleep better?
OK ANOTHER sleep question!!! sorry i read today that weaned children sleep better than those still nursing and i was just wondering if this is true. i also read that formula fed babies sleep better (or should) b/c of something with the vagal nerves or something but who knows.... so if you weaned your DC did you notice an improvement in their sleep? TIA once again!

I have been having a hard time getting DD to sleep- but it's my own fault because I let her get into the habit of falling asleep while nursing (not at night, just for her naps). Now I've almose completely weaned her and she won't nap at all.
DD is six months now- she slept great till she was about 4.5-5 months old- I'd put her down awake and she'd fall asleep. I started weaning at 5.5 months and she'd already been having issues at that point.
HTH!!
