DH and I like Long Island Cheeseburgers on Merrick Rd in Wantagh. Pretty much across the street from Sapporo. They don't have a website.

They had fantastic burgers! It is a shame they are no longer around on Long Island. I miss them and Red Robin - their burgers were pretty good too.
I'm a big burger person and, IMO, out of all the chain places Ruby Tuesday has one of the best burgers - their classic is just that - classic!
Hmmm - There is a place in Northport called Sweet Mama's - amazing for breakfast but they also do lunch/dinner and they have AMAZING burgers!
I think Houlihans has a good burger.

ok, so we went to some bar/pub place in Merrick that was eh. I had suggested the place on Merrick Road in Wantagh that was mentioned earlier, but he wanted this one. We would have been better off. Than we could have had chocolate milk shakes. 
And yes, Rella, Rockets is AWESOME! Love the 5c juke box.

This thread inspired us to try this tonight and it was soooo good! We got steak fries and onion rings and they were delicious!
We thought it blows away Long Island Cheeseburger on Merrick Rd.
